Getting Parents on the Same Page

Factors contributing to a differing view point are mostly due to differences in each parent's own Nature. As opposites attract many couples see themselves as one being the good cop and the other the bad cop. This Seminar covers tips and strategies to ensure unity in the home.

About the Event

It is very common for parents to disagree on things when it comes to discipline - and parenting in general!

Getting parents on the same page and parenting as a united front means both parties coming to a compromise until a solution is agreed upon.

A united front is what children need to see, and feel.

It creates predictability and security and also, limits their options.

When you disagree with your spouse, you are on your own.

The children then have more power than you - and we are off to the races with opposition, disobedience and backchat.

This Seminar covers;

Common factors contributing to a differing view.

The SKILLS needed for parents to be on the same page.

The four different parenting types.

Real life examples of parents having different views and my advice:

Dad disagrees with Mum's idea of giving a child a banana in bed, before sleep.

Pocket money - how much and what for?

Drinking underage.

Bribes and threats.

Preparing a separate meal at dinner time and other dinner disputes.

Please email your current challenges to thenzsupernanny@gmail.com to be covered at the end of the seminar.
